Zin's 200-hour yoga teacher training is a 6-month, immersive program rooted in two things most trainings don't emphasize enough: philosophy and alignment for all bodies.
We believe yoga is far more than physical movement. It is a practice of stilling the mind, understanding the self, and showing up fully — for yourself and for others. Our curriculum reflects that belief at every level.
This program satisfies all Yoga Alliance requirements for RYT 200 certification. Upon completion, you'll be equipped to register as a Registered Yoga Teacher through Yoga Alliance — if that's your goal. And if it isn't, you'll leave with a depth of understanding that will transform your personal practice for the rest of your life.

Who this is for
This training is for you if:
You've been practicing yoga and want to understand it at a deeper level
You're curious about yoga philosophy, anatomy, and the "why" behind what you do on the mat
You want to teach yoga — whether in a studio, a gym, a community space, or a living room
You're a movement teacher, therapist, or wellness professional who wants to integrate yoga into your work
You simply want to invest in yourself in a meaningful, sustained way
You do not need teaching ambitions to join. You do not need to be an advanced practitioner. You need curiosity, commitment, and a willingness to show up.
What makes Zin different
Rooted in philosophy, not just postures. Most teacher trainings spend the majority of time on asana. We go deep into the Yoga Sutras, yoga history, Sanskrit, chakra systems, the subtle body, meditation, and more — because we believe that's where the real transformation happens.
Alignment for every body. Our approach to asana is inclusive by design. We teach modifications, props, and variations so that every body — every age, every ability level — can access the practice safely and meaningfully.
You don't have to want to teach. This might be the thing we say most often. Plenty of our trainees join because they want to deepen their own practice, not because they plan to stand in front of a class. Both are equally valid reasons to be here.
A real community. Zin is a place where all can come, regardless of our differences. That isn't just a tagline — it's how we run our studio and our training. Expect to feel genuinely welcomed.
Experienced, certified lead trainers. Kara O'Briant (E-RYT 500, YACEP) and Angela Hawkins (E-RYT 500, YACEP) bring deep expertise and genuine warmth to every module. Guest teachers add specialties in Ayurveda, anatomy, yoga nidra, restorative yoga, Sanskrit, and more.
