The Zin Book Club has chosen Rewind by Catherine Ryan Howard. Psycho meets Fatal Attraction in this explosive story about a murder caught on camera. Andrew, the manager of Shanamore Cottages, watches his only guest via a hidden camera in her room. One night the unthinkable happens: a shadowy figure emerges on-screen, kills her, and destroys the camera. But who is the murderer and how did they know about the camera?

Fall Harvest Wine Dinner with Spread NC
Join us for an intimate Fall Harvest Wine Dinner celebrating the best of the season, paired with exceptional Italian wines. Chef John Upsal of Spread NC brings his signature farm-to-table approach, crafting a multi-course menu built around the freshest local, seasonal ingredients. Each course will be paired with wines selected and poured by Emanuele "Manny" Magnani, owner and importer of Sunrise Wines, known for hand-selecting small vineyards across Italy. A rare chance to taste Manny's exclusive imports alongside Chef John's seasonal cooking — expect rich flavors, great stories, and a true celebration of harvest season.

The Zin Book Club has selected Killers of a Certain Age by Deanna Raybourn for our next read. It's the story of a team of four female assassins who suddenly find themselves as the targets of the Museum, the elite organization that has employed them for four decades. Book Club - First Wednesday of the month
The Zin Book Club has selected The Resettlement of Vesta Blonik as its June book. Written by Raleigh author Denise Smith Cline, The Resettlement of Vesta Blonik is the story of an unmarried Minnesota farm woman who is tricked into marrying a widower who has been committed to Dix Hill Hospital (Dorathea Dix) after the death of his wife and child. The book follows the two strangers as they navigate their unexpected marriage and new life in the South, confronting their grief and finding resilience and love amidst the hardship of the Great Depression.
The group will meet on Wednesday, July 8, at 6:30 p.m. in the wine lounge. Join us for an engaging discussion—along with a few laughs and a glass of something tasty.
